Sedgefield is located just south of historic Dilworth in South Charlotte. The neighborhood was built after World War II and many of the homes are being renovated due to is great location and easy access to downtown Charlotte. Sedgefield is located between Park Rd and South Blvd and is in the Myers Park High School district. Styles range from brick style ranches to Bungalows. Home prices currently range from 200K to just shy of 500K.

One of Charlotte’s original streetcar-era suburbs, Dilworth is known for both its history and new development. Today Dilworth is filled with trendy boutiques, upscale shops, and great restaurants. The city Tavern is one of my favorites. Dilworth is located east of South Boulevard, from Morehead Street to Ideal Way. It is also adjacent to SouthEnd and the new light-rail corridor.
